Every cleaning and waste contractor has a dream contract. The trouble is that wanting it badly makes it hard to see the parts that do not fit. A buyer you have never worked for. An event-day crew many times the size of your roster. Those gaps do not close because the bid is well written.

The old way, you find that out in the unsuccessful letter, after your team has given up weeks of evenings. The mismatch was there on day one. Nobody put a number on it before the writing started.

A low score before you start is not bad news. It is the cheapest piece of information you will get all year, and it keeps the team fresh for the one that scores a sixty. Helm Tender brings Queensland Government, Brisbane City Council and federal tenders into one feed and sends one morning briefing with the ones that fit your business.

What they say

Barry: G'day, I'm Barry. I love doin' business the way I always have.

Dave: And I'm Dave. I used to. Then I found a better way.

Barry: Stadium cleaning and waste. Dream contract. Scored thirty.

Dave: And?

Barry: Minus twenty. Never worked for that buyer.

Barry: Minus fifteen. Event-day crew of six hundred.

Barry: We roster ninety.

Dave: Any plus?

Barry: Plus five. We're in Queensland.

Dave: My old way, I found that out in the unsuccessful letter.

Barry: After six weeks of my bid team's evenings.

Dave: Helm Tender shows me every minus before my team writes a word.

Barry: Thirty. Honest, though.

Dave: Cheaper than the letter.

Barry: Saving this for a sixty.

Dave: It'll keep.

Barry: So will I.
